Internationl Womens Month Celebrations

Today at DICT, we came together to commemorate International Women's Month, embracing the theme "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress." The event kicked off with an inspiring speech from our esteemed Regional Director, Dir. Rachel Ann Grabador. Her words resonated with everyone present, emphasizing the significance of recognizing and supporting the contributions of women in our society. As part of the event, we had the privilege of gaining insights into the Bawal Bastos Law from Atty. Maria Elena Arienda-Millano. Her presentation shed light on the legal framework aimed at protecting women from various forms of harassment and discrimination. It was an eye-opening session that deepened our understanding of the legal rights and protections available to women. 

Throughout the event, there were discussions, reflections, and shared experiences highlighting the achievements and challenges faced by women in various aspects of life, including the workplace, education, and personal empowerment. It was a time of learning, celebration, and empowerment as we reaffirmed our commitment to gender equality and women's empowerment.
